All parents deserve a support person, cheerleader, and/or guide through the ever changing journey of parenting. Our lives are enriched by the circle of people that surround us (e.g. family, friends, coaches). As a coach, I am honored to be a part of the circle that supports you.
My circle includes my husband, two children, friends, extended family, coaching network and education connections (parents and special needs). My circle provides me with the support, resources and opportunities to grow, learn and connect.
My professional journey began as I received my Master's Degree in Education from the University of Washington and began my career as a teacher in Special Education programs. This led to several illuminating years working with students, families, and professionals in public school education.
Once my two daughters were born, my teaching career transitioned to full-time parenting. In this chapter of my education, I have discovered that although my home classroom environments continually change, the opportunities to be a teacher remain constant. Deciding to become a PCI Certified Parent Coach was a natural progression for me as my interests center on curiosity and discovery, and how these affect our lives. Working with clients in my coaching business and through parent education are the perfect opportunities for me to follow my path and my passion as an educator.
